NYC based celebrity makeup artist Beau Nelson has been creating beauty for almost 14 years. Working professionally at the age of 14, Nelson’s ambition was apparent from a young age. Originally from a small town in Southern Alberta Canada, Nelson now resides in NYC where he maintains a much varied, star studded clientele including women like Marcia Cross, Iman, Mary J. Blige, and Blake Lively.
Beauté Cosmetics was created out of a desire to share Nelson’s expertise and to communicate his vision of a flawless product range through color, texture and packaging.
“In creating Beauté, I wanted to develop a line in which every single product was a Star Product, each foundation, each powder; each lip color will be special, perfect, and beautiful.” Says Nelson.
Every step of the way, Beau Nelson is going to make sure that his clientele are completely informed as to how to make the most of his products thanks to on-site instruction and extensive web site tutorials. He may have his eye on the elite but he’s inclusive at heart; Beauté is about making perfection available to every woman who knows how to hunt down the best.
“We are developing a brand of irresistible luxury,” Beau Nelson promises. “We do not accept anything less than perfect.”
Nelson’s work is generously informed by his passions for contemporary art, art history, high end architecture and design and music of every tone. He reveres all the great icons of glamour, especially such late 20th century lions as Halston, Guy Bourdin, Jerry Hall and Carine Roitfeld of Vogue Paris.
